The implementation period of the Action started officially from 1 August 2016 and lasted till 30 September 2017. 

The overall objective of the project was to enhance the knowledge on European Union (EU) matters in Azerbaijan for better understanding of and cooperation with EU. The specific objective isgradually introducing the fully-fledged MA programme in EU studies aimed at addressing the long-term objective for increasing the EU knowledge across various sectors and government institutions all over the country. ADA University (ADA) had implemented the project in cooperation with the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU).  The project was focused on the development of additional master level courses in EU affairs and preparation for accreditation. 

The project had achieved the following results

1: Internal monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance mechanisms for the Master level courses in EU Studies established and the MA EU Studies programme submitted for accreditation.

2: At least eight Master level courses in EU studies developed and piloted to be included in MA EU studies programme.

3: Professional faculty capable of conducting MA level courses in EU studies established.

4: Awareness of current and future students of the EU studies increased and marketing plan for EU studies developed.
